Ladies, I'm sure we have all been in a situation where we are invited for drinks or have a date night planned right after work. You applied makeup in the morning and have worn it the whole day at work! Don't know how to look fresh for your night out? Here are a few tips on how to touch up your makeup and make it look good as new!
Blot Oil or Shine: Use blotting papers or a tissue to absorb excess oil from your face, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin). This will prevent your makeup from looking greasy.
Touch Up Concealer: Dab a bit of concealer under the eyes or on any blemishes that might have shown through during the day. Use a sponge or brush to blend it in.
Refresh Foundation: If needed, apply a light layer of foundation or a tinted moisturizer to refresh your complexion. A beauty sponge or brush can help you apply a thin layer without disrupting the existing makeup.
Fix Eyebrows: If your brows have faded or become uneven, lightly fill them in with a brow pencil or powder to define and shape them.
Reapply Blush: If your blush has faded, add a little more to the apples of your cheeks for a fresh, healthy glow.
Touch Up Lips: If your lipstick has worn off, reapply a coat or two. If you prefer a lighter touch, use a lip gloss or lip balm to hydrate and add shine.
Refresh Eyeliner/Shadow: If your eyeliner or eyeshadow has smudged or faded, touch it up with a quick line of eyeliner or a sweep of eyeshadow to make your eyes pop again.
Setting Spray: Finish with a makeup setting spray to lock everything in place and ensure longevity.
